Introducing Myself

Hallo friends, Good Morning all.

Thank you for the chance that you give to me, so today, I can speak in front of you about myself.

My name is David Satria Pamungkas and all of my friends call me David.

I come from Temanggung city, two hours from here.
My hobby is playing guitar.

When I play a song with my guitar, I can express my feeling and say what I really feel and what I really think.

I love playing guitar because the sound of the guitar can bring the peaceful atmosphere for me, so when I have a lot of problem, I will play my guitar and I will feel more relax.

Not only playing guitar, I also like to modify car and my motor cycle.

For me, that activity is fun, beside I can be more creative also.
By the way, I am the last child in my family.

I have 2 brothers whom I love very much, but unfortunately, I rarely meet them because they have their own job and family.

I also should fight for my future here, I hope I can be like my 2 brothers who can make our family is proud.

I also have many friends in my home town.

I like to spend my time with them and talk about our past.
\
We like to share about many silly things that we had done before.

For me and my friends that’s the real quality time, because becoming happy is simple.

Beautiful moment in my life

My Special Event

Hallo friends, Good Morning all.

Thank you for the chance that you give to me, so today, I can share with you about one of my special events in my life.

Now, I am 19 years old and I have past many things which are also special and meaningful for me.

But I always wait for one special moment which is Ied Mubbarak.
Why Ied Mubbarak becomes very special for me?

The reason is very simple, because in that moment I can spend my time with my whole family.

My family consists of 5 persons.
First is my father, second is my mother, third is my brother, fourth is my other brother, and the last is me.

My two brothers have to go to the other place and they already have their own family.

So Ied Mubbarak is the right time to spend the time together.

Besides that, Ied Mubbarak is the time to say sorry to all people around of me, so I can start my new life and start to do something good.

Ied Mubbarak for me is very special also because I have done to do the fasting moment for 1 month full.

In every year, I always wait for Ramadan comes and finally celebrate Ied Mubbarak with my lovely family.

My Daily Activity in My Live

My Daily Activity

Every day is a new life for me.

I always start is with something good like praying.

Because I am a Muslim, I always start my day with sholat.

I will continue my activity with cleaning my room and prepare what kind of cloth that I want to use that day.

I prepare everything to go to campus also
.After that, I will take a bath.

If I have enough time, I will eat my breakfast before go to campus, if I don’t have time I will eat only a slice of bread because I think skipping breakfast is not a good idea.

I continue my activity in my campus.

I join the class and interact with all of my friends there.

For me, my time in campus is very valuable and meaningful, I really like to spend my time here.

I will go back to my boarding house after the class is offer.

I will take a rest for a while before doing other activities.

I will eat also to charge my energy, sometimes I eat with all of my friends or sometimes alone.

I often go with my friend in night to dinner together.

If I don’t go with them, I prefer to play the guitar in my boarding house, it will keep me from homesick.

In the weekend, I like to spend my time in Temanggung.

I love to go there to meet my family.

Identifying a Noun

A noun is a part of speech that denotes a person, animal, place, thing, or idea. The English word noun has its roots in the Latin word nomen, which means “name.” Every language has words that are nouns. As you read the following explanations, think about some words that might fit into each category.
  • Person – A term for a person, whether proper name, gender, title, or class, is a noun.
  • Animal – A term for an animal, whether proper name, species, gender, or class is a noun.
  • Place – A term for a place, whether proper name, physical location, or general locale is a noun.
  • Thing – A term for a thing, whether it exists now, will exist, or existed in the past is a noun.
  • Idea – A term for an idea, be it a real, workable idea or a fantasy that might never come to fruition is a noun.

Noun Examples

When we first start to learn the parts of speech, trying to identify different words can seem like a challenge. This process gets easier with practice. Here are some noun examples to help you get started. The nouns in each sentence have been italicized.

Adjectives

What is an adjective?

Adjectives are words that describe or modify other words, making your writing and speaking much more specific, and a whole lot more interesting. Words like small, blue, and sharp are descriptive, and they are all examples of adjectives. Because adjectives are used to identify or quantify individual people and unique things, they are usually positioned before the noun or pronoun that they modify. Some sentences contain multiple adjectives.
Traditionally considered to be a single part of speech, adverbs perform a wide variety of functions, which makes it difficult to treat them as a single, unified category. Adverbs normally carry out these functions by answering questions such as:
  • When? She always arrives early.
  • How? He drives carefully.
  • Where? They go everywhere together.
  • In what way? She eats slowly.
  • To what extent? It is terribly hot.
This is called adverbial function and may be accomplished by adverbial clauses and adverbial phrases as well as by adverbs that stand alone.
There are many rules for using adverbs, and these rules often depend upon which type of adverb you are using. Remember these basics, and using adverbs to make sentences more meaningful will be easier for you.
  • Adverbs can always be used to modify verbs. Notice that the second of these two sentences is much more interesting simply because it contains an adverb:
    • The dog ran. (You can picture a dog running, but you don’t really know much more about the scene.)
    • The dog ran excitedly. (You can picture a dog running, wagging its tail, panting happily, and looking glad to see its owner. You can paint a much more interesting picture in your head when you know how or why the dog is running.)
  • Adverbs are often formed by adding the letters “-ly” to adjectives. This makes is very easy to identify adverbs in sentences. There are many exceptions to this rule; everywhere, nowhere, andupstairs are a few examples.
  • An adverb can be used to modify an adjective and intensify the meaning it conveys. For example:
    • He plays tennis well. (He knows how to play tennis and sometimes he wins.)
    • He plays tennis extremely well. (He knows how to play tennis so well that he wins often.)
As you read the following adverb examples, you’ll notice how these useful words modify other words and phrases by providing information about the place, time, manner, certainty, frequency, or other circumstances of activity denoted by the verbs or verb phrases in the sentences.

Examples of Adverbs

As you read each of the following adverb examples, note that the adverbs have been italicized for easy identification. Consider how replacing the existing adverbs with different ones would change the meaning of each sentence.
  1. She was walking rapidly.
  2. The kids love playing together in the sandbox.
  3. Please come inside now.
  4. His jokes are always very funny.
  5. You don’t really care, do you?
